Aqualand - an enclosed marine aquarium is situated off Beacon Hill, Torquay in between Beacon Cove and South Pier, metered parking is nearby.

Bygones - a lifesize Victorian Street is situated in Forestreet, St Marychurch, Torquay, tel: 01803 326 108. Enjoy a trip back in time through sweet shops filled with the smells of confectionary where you can still by treats by the quarter.

Kents Cavern Showcaves - these Palaeolithic caves are the oldest human dwellings in Britain. Enjoy candelit themed tours that see the caves converted into Santa's Grotto or witches' covens.  Situated at Ilsham Road, past the junction with Asheldon Road, Wellswood, Torquay, tel:01803 215136.

Princess Theatre - showing evening-with performances, stand-up comedy, musicals and pantomimes there's something to suit most family members, situated in Torbay Road, Torquay close to the South Pier, tel: 0870 241 4120 for show information.

Torquay Museum - if you're an Agatha Christie fan or interested in local history this museum has some fine collections. It is situated at 559 Babbacombe Road, a short uphill walk from The Old Harbour. Opening times are Easter-October 10.00am until 4.45pm except on Sundays when opening hours are from 1.30pm until 4.45pm. Quaywest Waterpark - this wet 'n' wild waterpark has log flumes and exhilarating slides. It is situated in Tanners Road, Paignton, Torbay, tel: 01803 550034.
